After last week’s debate, and this MSNBC poll, the media bias is obvious. Major TV, Web and print (iPad?) news sources continue to ignore Ron Paul’s lead. The New York Times mentioned him halfway down. Jon Stewart joked about his policies. Diane Sawyer and ABC’s nightly news? They didn’t even mention the GOP debate the following evening.

If ABC, NBC, CBS, and yes, even Fox, continue to ignore Ron Paul, the people won’t. Liberally backed MSM doesn’t stand a chance against Dr. Paul’s agreeable message “freedom is popular.”

On another note, is it odd there are only 302 views on this YouTube video? People say it’s been that way a couple hours. Another commenter said the CIA owns Google. Google owns YouTube. Can anyone confirm this? Is it a government conspiracy to stifle Ron Paul’s message of independence? Would refusal to air the ad violate the freedom of speech, press or both?

I’m all for female empowerment, but Hail to the V. Really Summer’s Eve!?

Chances are, if you’re over the age of 13 (let’s be honest) you probably know what this ad references. Why don’t we just call it what it is? Power of the pussy. I’m not sure whether to be repulsed or empowered.

Creativity alone dupes this ad “not trash.” Congrats. Now wash up.

What I’ve garnered is Jay Carney oblivious Obama’s debt ceiling plan. In fact, his inability to answer such simple questions makes me wonder if we even have a plan. Truth and knowledge should make these questions easy to answer.

Why is the Press Secretary not doing his job? Inform the people who pay your salary. Don’t dodge questions. Skip the snarky remarks. Remember, you serve us.

One YouTube commenter said it best. “Ever had a brand new sales rep call you and try to sell you? And you, being somewhat educated about what you are buying, ask some good but not challenging questions. But the newbie can’t answer anything and then starts attacking you. Would you buy from him? Nope. That situation is this boy right here. What a loser.”

Does Carney have a clue? Is Obama blowing hot air? Is the press corp clouded by political partisanship?

When the DA lost its case against Casey Anthony, Nancy Grace lost her cool. The only thing winning in this situation? Nancy Grace’s record setting ratings.

Grace won the 8 PM time slot with 2.9 million viewers, her highest numbers to date. However, not everyone tuned in with the best intentions. Many discussion boards revealed viewers looked forward to Grace’s overreacting, sparring or “wicked witch” ways. I guess they say bad press is better than no press…

What do you think? Is Nancy Grace sincere in her hunt for Caylee’s killer? Is Casey Anthony guilty or does she just have a good defense team? Is Nancy a dis-grace?

So what’s the big deal? FEC campaign finance laws prohibit politicians from filming, promoting or campaigning on government grounds i.e. the White House. While the Obama camp may try to deny any wrongdoing, a screenshot from the President’s weekly address shows an identical lamp to that in the campaign video. Coincidence? Similar taste in lamps?

I’m not sure why everyone is up in arms. Obama hasn’t stopped campaigning since entering the White House. Is anyone really surprised this is happening?

Can someone explain why the MSM is not reporting the FEC violation? Would the response be the same if Bush engaged in such behavior?

Alas, it’s easy to judge, but years ago I too swooned over boy bands like N’Sync and Backstreet Boys. Then again, they didn’t hock perfume. “What if they did?” you ask? Even in my early years I knew better than to purchase something because a “cute” boy sold it.

Let’s fact it, what do teenage boys, who douse themselves in Axe, know about women’s perfume? Nothing. Just like Justin Bieber knows nothing about non-cheestastic commercials. What do you think he’ll say looking back on this commercial ten years from now? I’m sure he’ll agree with me and deem it “trash”.

The only thing worse than this commercial is Bieber’s Marc Jacob’s Lola bottle knock off. Which is a whole different story…

Props to Sealy for incorporating mixed race relationships into its advertising, but what about same sex couples? Would that have caused a controversy? Gays and lesbians like to sleep on springs too.

Why have we never seen this commercial on air? It’s great, and certainly makes us want to sleep on springs!

Do sexually implied commercials catch your attention? Parents, do you find these commercials to be inappropriate, even for late night TV? Does sleeping on Sealy’s springs really make you more attractive in the morning?
